Marta the translator

Marta asks her dad where is her drum.
Her dad responds: "No Marta, the drum is broken"
Marta runs to the kitchen and says to her Spanish granny: "Abu, el tambor se rompió!" [Gran, the drum is broken!]

After being in the presence of Marta for half an hour, my brother Des says:
